Target Group
This course aims at beginners with little or no technical background who want to understand the mechanics of blockchain and cryptocurrencies (e. g. Bitcoin and Ethereum) quickly and start using it.
Learning objectives
In this course, you will learn how different blockchain components work together without going too deep into the technical explanation. But still, we stay precise and avoid generalities and oversimplification. In the end, you understand what a blockchain or cryptocurrency is, how it works and what its benefits and downsides are. You will be able to use cryptocurrencies, buy, send, receive and trade them. And thanks to the profound explanation, you have all tools to evaluate other blockchain projects according to their features. This course lays the foundation to identify new use cases, business models, and applications. In addition, the course provides an overview of common methods of crypto theft, hacks, and scams
