Schnorr Signatures

Schnorr signatures were introduced to Taproot in BIP340.

Schnorr signatures allow simpler key aggregation than ECDSA signatures. This makes multi-signature transactions easier and cheaper. By aggregating multiple keys into a single signature, privacy is enhanced.
